Therefore, please continue to send your requests to landcharges@winchester.gov.uk and we will ring you for payment by card.
If you have any queries, please ring 01962 848122 or email landcharges@winchester.gov.uk

The Local Land Charges Department provides information to solicitors and other conveyancing professionals, as part of the conveyancing process for land and property sales.
The service provides information on various matters that may affect a property. These include details of planning permissions and restrictions, highway rights and proposals, development proposals for the property, environmental health notices, and building control matters. This information is used by solicitors to advise clients, as part of the process of buying a property.
On average the department deals with around 4,000 searches a year and our turnaround time for a search is still approximately 10 working days.
