Elections for Police and Crime Commissioner, Winchester City Council district and parish elections are scheduled to take place on Thursday 2 May 2024.
A Hampshire County council by election for Meon Valley division, will also take place on 2 May 2024 .

Police and Crime Commissoner Election for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police Area
Nominations for the Police and Crime Commission elections are dealt with by the Police Area Returning Officer, Mark Heath, at Southampton City Council. More information on standing for election in the PCC elections is available at PARO (southampton.gov.uk)

Hampshire County Council by election for Meon Valley division
A Hampshire County council by election for Meon Valley division, will take place on 2 May 2024.
A Notice of Vacancy was published on 13 March 2024 and the required valid requests from two local government electors for the administrative area of Hampshire were received by the County Returning Officer.

Nomination form submisson
Nomination papers for these elections must be completed and submitted by hand to the Returning Officer, City Offices, Winchester City Council, Colebrook Street, Winchester SO23 9LJ.
Nomination papers must be submitted between 10am and 4pm from Thursday 21 March, excluding weekends and bank holidays. The deadline for nominations is 4pm on Friday 5 April 2024. It is recommended that you book an appointment, please email ereg@winchester.gov.uk or call 01962 848125.
Nomination papers may also be scanned for an informal check to be carried out before the formal submission of nomination papers to the elections team on ereg@winchester.gov.uk. Any errors found will be communicated to the candidate and/or their election agent by email to allow these to be corrected before formal submission. However, it should be noted that the correct completion of the nomination forms remains your responsibility or that of your election agent.
