Put your Feet First with a free “Winchester City Twin Peaks” walk

As part of Winchester City Council’s corporate campaign ‘Feet First’, the Council has organised a free event which will be led by the Winchester Ramblers on Sunday 4 September.

The walk “Winchester City Twin Peaks” will involve routes via St Giles and St Catherine’s Hills where you can take in the beautiful views of the city below and will be led by walkers from the Winchester Ramblers.

There will be three and five mile options both of which will start at the Durngate car park in Winchester city centre at 10.30am. Please remember to wear suitable footwear and clothing. Free parking is available in all the city’s car parks on Sundays.

Simon Finch, Assistant Director at Winchester City Council said:

The Feet First campaign is designed to promote walking in all its forms, so to ‘kick start’ the Ramblers Association Festival of Walks during September we’re delighted to join forces with the local Winchester Ramblers to lay on this free walk.
