£6,000 in grants available
The Winchester Town Forum has £6,000-worth of small grants to award to organisations that provide activities within the town area of Winchester.
The small grants aid organisations with a one-off grant for pieces of equipment or specific activities which benefit residents in the five unparished areas of the town.
Cllr Jamie Scott, the Chair of the Town Forum Grants Panel, said:
It is with great pleasure that we are able to offer small grant funding again this year. The grants have proven valuable and we have previously funded a wide variety of activities. We are now inviting applicants to come forward to benefit from our grant-funding.
Melissa Fletcher, Funding & Development Officer at Winchester City Council, said:
The small grants are an essential source of funding for groups who just need a little bit of money for an activity or piece of equipment. We have a very healthy demand for this type of funding. We try to support as many organisations and activities as possible.
Deadline for application is noon Thursday 11 August 2016.
