Works on footbridge at North Pond, Bishop’s Waltham
Work to refurbish the attractive timber footbridge at North Pond in Bishop’s Waltham starts on Monday 25 July.
Deck planks will be replaced and other parts of the structure refurbished.
Works have been agreed with the Parish Council to avoid the school term and coincide with the summer holidays. The £47,000 scheme is due to be completed by the end of August.
The work will be carried out by A.D. Southern Ltd on behalf of Winchester City Council. An alternative route will be signed while the footbridge is closed.
