Winchester City Council is offering another 6 week course of Community Cookery Skills classes.

These classes are aimed at men over 55 years of age and the course will provide its participants with simple ideas and tips on preparing uncomplicated healthy meals.

The course has had previous success in a number of areas across the Winchester District. Des Holyhead, who attended classes in Bishop’s Waltham, said:

My wife was going into hospital, so it was a case of either come on the course or starve!
