Strategic Key Performance Indicators
The purpose of the strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) is to demonstrate the progress achieved against the five priorities included in the Council Plan.
On a quarterly basis we produce a report of the strategic KPI's to track our progress and show what we are doing to meet our goals. This report is examined by Performance Panel, Scrutiny Committee and Cabinet and once approved, is published on the website. Links to the reports can be found on the right hand side of this page.
Not all Strategic KPIs are collected at the same time or in the same way. Some are updated every quarter, some every year, and some only every other year depending on when the data is available.
On 18 January 2023 council adopted the refreshed Council Plan which refined some of the actions the council will be undertaking and also outlines four areas of enhanced focus for the upcoming year. These are:
- Cost of Living Support
- Greener Faster
- Pride in Place
- Listening Better
The five priorities in the Council Plan and what we want to achieve for each is detailed below.
