We manage 25 equipped play areas, 3 skate parks, 3 outdoor gyms and 2 MUGAs in the city and surrounding district.

There are many other play areas in the district which are the responsibility of your local parish council or housing managment company.

Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) at King George V Playing Fields

We are happy to announce that the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at King George V Playing Fields has recently undergone renovations and is now available for public use. We invite everyone to come and enjoy the improved facilities. Stanmore Recreation Ground/Cromwell Road also has a MUGA.

Talavera Road Play Area

Construction of the new Talavera Road Play Area is set to begin on Monday 11 November. We're happy to bring this exciting project to life based on the valuable feedback we received from the community.

Please note:

- To accommodate the construction team, the two parking spaces adjacent to the play area will be used for contractor vehicles during the refurbishment period.

- A short section of the road will have restricted parking to allow access to the play area through the knee rail.

We apologise for any temporary inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to create a wonderful new play space for everyone to enjoy.
