Review of UK Parliamentary polling districts, polling places and polling stations 2023

All local authorities are required to review their polling districts, polling places, and polling stations for Parliamentary Constituencies every five years.

For Winchester City Council, our review started on 2 October 2023. The consultation period was from Monday 2 October to 5pm on Monday 13 November 2023 and is now closed.

We asked to hear your views on whether you think where you go to vote is in the right place. We also asked about things like location and accessibility.

Conclusion of review
The Polling Districts and Places review has now concluded, and representations were considered at the recent Licensing and Regulation Committee on 6 December 2023. The ARO’s commentary and final recommendations and all documents sent / received in connection with this review can be viewed below. The new polling district arrangements will be reflected in the register of electors which will be re-published on 1 February 2024.
