A treat for singers and audience alike, the evening will feature Vivaldi’s 'Gloria' and JS Bach’s 'Magnificat', perhaps two of the greatest sacred choral works ever written. The Vivaldi will be performed together with past conductors and members. Southern Voices are also thrilled to welcome Endelienta Baroque, an outstandingly talented group of young artists, who recreate the orchestral soundscape for which Bach and Vivaldi composed, performing on historical instruments. The concert opens with two relatively new works by composer Matthew Martin, beginning festivities with settings of 'Laudate Dominum' and 'Jubilate Deo', celebratory music for the most celebratory of occasions.

Do come along and join Southern Voices for what will be a wonderful evening. Soloists will be: Lucy Cronin & Lucy Mellors soprano, Claire Sutton-Williams mezzo-soprano,
Gwilym Bowen tenor, Jamie W Hall baritone Jamal Sutton conductor. Tickets are £35 for the concert and Gala Reception afterwards, where the fun continues with drinks, canapés, speeches, surprises and more singing!
Or if you cannot make the Reception, the concert only ticket is £25
from www.southernvoices.co.uk/gala or from 0333 666 3366 (booking fees apply).

The event is sponsored by Winchester Round Table.
