Works to trees and landscapes
Conservation areas exist in order to preserve the appearance of a significant and locally distinctive area – this also includes the trees and landscapes within the area. Local Planning Authorities require notification prior to any works commencing in order to consider the character contribution of the trees creates and if necessary to impose a Tree Preservation Order (TPO).
