Play Areas , Skate Parks, Outdoor Gyms & MUGAs
We manage 25 equipped play areas, 3 skate parks, 3 outdoor gyms and 2 MUGAs in the city and surrounding district.
There are many other play areas in the district which are the responsibility of your local parish council or housing managment company.
Talavera Road Play Area
We are pleased to announce a partial opening of the new play area! Some areas require a little bit of extra work which will be completed early in the new year, but we hope you will enjoy what the new park has to offer until then.
Please note:
- To accommodate the construction team, the two parking spaces adjacent to the play area will be used for contractor vehicles during the refurbishment period.
- A short section of the road will have restricted parking to allow access to the play area through the knee rail.
We apologise for any temporary inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to create a wonderful new play space for everyone to enjoy.
Improvement Works at Abbey Gardens Play Area
Abbey Gardens Play Area will be temporarily closed from Thursday 16 January to Thursday 23 January.
We are installing new rubber paving between the play equipment to create a safer and more enjoyable play surface. This will eliminate muddy areas and provide a better experience for all.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and aim to reopen as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding.
