Park & Ride over the festive period
Christmas in Winchester is a special time of year and many people choose this time to visit the shops and popular Winchester Cathedral Christmas market. To make your visit as easy as possible, we encourage you to use our Park & Ride service during this very busy period - it's the most efficient way to visit. To make it even easier, we've added more bus services and a Sunday bus service too. Full details can be found on this page.
Many of our car parks are within walkable distances of the city centre (and these also have one hour's free parking too) , but did you know you can also walk from two of our park and ride sites? Barfield Close and St. Catherine’s. Walking maps to the city centre from these car parks can be found on this page (PDF links).
Additionally, our extended Barfield P&R site (Phase II) has additional facilities such as EV charging points, parent & child spaces, and a greater number of disabled spaces.
All Park & Ride locations take coin, debit/credit card, and RingGo as methods of payment
Extra Park & Ride services will be in place from Tuesday 19 November until Monday 23 December 2024.
