Local Transport Schemes
Winchester City Council and Hampshire County Council have approved a Transport District Statement which includes a schedule of schemes to improve local transport infrastructure for which it would be reasonable to seek contributions from development proposals, in accordance with Circular 05/05 and the terms of the Hampshire County Council transport contributions policy, adopted by the City Council in April 2008. The amount of the contributions to be sought will be calculated by reference to the tariff produced by Hampshire County Council. Contributions will only be sought where there is a requirement to mitigate the impact of the development on the transport infrastructure.
