There is a right to appeal against Enforcement Notices or other formal Notices issued by the Local Planning Authority. An Appeal cannot be lodged against the following types of notices:

• Breach of Condition Notice
• Stop Notice
• Temporary Stop Notice

Appeals must be lodged within 28 days of the notice being issued or by the date stated on the notice and accompanying letter.

All Enforcement appeals will follow a set timetable and all documents and comments will need to be received by the Planning Inspectorate by the deadline.
