Carbon Neutrality Open Forum (CNOF)
Online events where we address aspects of the climate emergency and share the realistic actions that will help us meet our carbon neutrality goals.
Working Towards Carbon Neutrality - 19 November 2024
The next CNOF online event – Working Towards Carbon Neutrality – will focus on how we’re working towards achieving carbon neutrality across the district. It will take place on Tuesday 19 November, 6:30 - 8pm. Everyone is welcome and you can register to attend this online event at www.winchester.gov.uk/CNOFNov24.
At Winchester City Council, we are tackling the climate emergency by reducing our own carbon emissions and encouraging others across the district to do the same. During the CNOF, we’ll share some of the simple steps we have taken to reach our goals, with a big effect, as well as our plans for driving down emissions across the whole district.
You will also have the chance to hear from:
Winchester Action on the Climate Crisis Stuart Mills about the Community Solar Support Scheme.
Energise South Downs - Community Owned Renewables Catriona Cockburn will update us on the Future Energy Landscapes workshops.
If you have a question for any of the speakers, please send it in advance to climateemergency@winchester.go.uk.
