Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) scheme
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) is a government energy efficiency scheme for Great Britain, administered by Ofgem and set to run until 31 March 2026.
The main objective of ECO4 is to improve low energy-efficient housing stock occupied by low-income and vulnerable households.
Under the scheme's flexibility criteria, we can refer private households to the scheme if they are assessed to be living in fuel poverty or on a low income and vulnerable to the effects of living in a cold home.
We've partnered with the National Energy Foundation to promote and administer ECO4 on our behalf. Referrals can be made through local GPs and Citizens Advice, and individuals can also self-refer - although on the whole, the ECO4 scheme is 'installer led' which means you will need to find an installer who will then process your application for you. You can find a list of approved suppliers below.
