Winchester Healthy Walks
Walking is a great way to lead an active, healthy lifestyle in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment. Working closely with Community First, we are creating further opportunities to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of our local communities. Through the delivery of local short group walks, this will help address issues of loneliness, isolation, and mental health and physical health.

How to take part
If you would like to take part in our Healthy Walks, please come along to the start point of the walk you would like to join a few minutes early so that one of our trained leaders can give you a registration form to complete. Alternatively you can download this form by clicking on the document located on the right hand side of the webpage. You will then be able to take part in as many walks as you wish. If you would like to know more before you start, please contact Calum Drummond our Health Improvement Manager on cdrummond@winchester.gov.uk

Become a Walk Leader
Our walks heavily rely on the fantastic support from our volunteer walk leaders, and we are always in search for more people to join the team. Walk leaders are required to attend a free, virtual half-day course in order to be qualified. Once completed, you will be responsible for a group walk on a regular basis. If you would like more information please contact Calum Drummond our Health Improvement Manager on cdrummond@winchester.gov.uk
