Milestones:

• Outline planning consent granted 30 July 2018
• Work commenced on site 28 January 2019
• First occupation occurred on 23 December 2021
• Reserve matters applications have been approved for 3,318 dwellings.
• The first primary school, Cornerstone Primary School on Bluebell Way, opened to pupils in September 2021
• Bluebell Way and Whiteley Way opened as a through routes to the Botley Road
• The Cycle Way from the northern access junction to Botley Station has been substantially complete

• 3,318 dwellings have been granted planning permission.
• Planning application expected shortly for the final 182 dwellings 
• 1853 properties have been occupied.
• The extensions to Bluebell Way and Whiteley Way are complete and opened to through traffic to the Botley Road. 
• Works are underway to upgrade the off-site sections of Whiteley Way to a dual carriageway.
• The first primary school on site has been constructed and opened in 2021.
• The secondary school has yet to gain planning permission but HCC are currently considering an application for this, HCC reference: https://planning.hants.gov.uk/Planning/Display/HCC/2024/0658
• Footpaths have been constructed in the public open space at Sawpit Copse and Hangmans Copse to give greater accessibility.
• The first phase of the extended bus service commenced 9 January 2023 to serve the development.
• Planning permission granted for a Community Building in the northern neighbourhood (part of what will be the Northern Local Centre) 23 August 2024.
